Lightweight. Breathable. Flexible. A combination of descriptives used to demonstrate the highly function Vibram FiveFingers.
Add elegance to the party and an accumulation of productive words sum up the all new VI-B. Taking inspiration from ballet flat, the VI-B bring you closer to the ground, increasing proprioception. The ultra breathable design of the shoes allow air to permeate the structure from a raft of different angles providing a constant flow of air to the feet. Finished with an anti-microbial Drilex Sockliner, odour is quelled, generating a fresher environment.
Elegance and comfort combine with equal aplomb to produce a form and slim fitting Women's Shoe.
Named after the Italian Mountaineer and founder of the company, Vitale Bramani, Vibram was first established in 1937. Two years prior to this, Vitale was involved in a tragic mountaineering expedition, in which six of his friends were killed. Vitale blamed their deaths on the poor footwear that was worn at the time- traditional leather boots with steel hobnails. Soon after the accident, Vibram was formed, and Vitale patented the first ever rubber outsole with lugs.
Since then, the company has continued to grow, and Vibram outsoles can often be found affixed to the bottom of your trusty walking boots. They now have many different designs of shoe, one of which is the minimalist Five Fingers design, which acts as a second skin, and has revolutionised the concept of walking barefoot. Now the company works towards creating new technologies, that will keep Vibram on the soles of our feet for many years to come.
